“George Enescu” National University of Arts from Iaşi is honored to invite you and colleagues from your institution to take part at the International Conference „The Art of Education versus Artistic Education”, on the 17 and 19 of November 2022. Our declared goal is to stimulate the production of scientific knowledge in the field of artistic education and to develop the community of educational practice and research in artistic domain:
- Informational and communicational technologies in art education
- Pedagogy of art in comparative approaches
- The formation of teaching staff from artistic education domain
- Intercultural dimensions of artistic education
- Art as mean of mediation and action in communities.
A special section in the event will be reserved for the analysis concerning the cultural-educational aspects of the Rroma people.

Publishing the conference works
The works of the conference will be published in the 19rd number of the series Dimensions of artistic education. Selected papers on the peer review process to be published in the 25rd and 26rd issues of the Review of Artistic Education journal (BDI / http://rae.arts.ro/), dedicated to the theme „The Art of Education versus Artistic Education”, will require payment of 70 euro, for each published article. The journal is published by the Center of Intercultural Studies and Researches of Department for Teachers Education (DTE) at “George Enescu” National University of Arts from Iasi, Romania through the Artes and De Gruyter / Sciendo Publishers. The account will be sent later to the accepted authors.
The Journal is intended as an opportunity for interdisciplinary and intercultural approach opened to pedagogical, psychological, sociological and political analyses in the field of intercultural and artistic education. The articles will be published in English to insure a greater visibility at international level to the research findings. We are inviting you to join these two numbers with articles arising of the papers presented at the Conference and/or book reviews in relation to the proposed topic of discussion.
Submitting papers and presentations at the conference
- The final papers (doc format) will be sent by authors by latest the 30 of October 2022 at the following address: dppd@arteiasi.ro.

Conference fee and payment regulations
- Participation can be direct / indirect to the event. The costs for the event folder which includes the program, the conference materials, the brochure with the conference summaries and the participation certificates as the volume / magazine (journal) will be sent electronically. The method of participation will be communicated later – online or physically.
- For direct participation, the costs involved in transport, accommodation, meals are not covered. These costs are borne by the participants.

Information for the authors
- In presenting ideas on a topic, all manuscripts proposed for publishing should be concise and include an even number of pages. We strongly recommend authors to limit to 10 pages (including the References, the Title, the Article and the Abstract in English).
- Submitted papers will be subjected to a blind peer-review process with proficient members of the international academic community active in the field of artistic education.
- You can find below the scientific criteria used in the peer – review process. The whole responsibility for the accuracy of the empirical support, analysis and interpretation of data, as well as for the accuracy of the text and English language command, belong entirely to the authors.
- Submission of the manuscript implies that it is not under consideration for a publication elsewhere.
Editing criteria
- The accepted publishing language are English;
- The words and quotes in foreign languages are written in Italics. The quotes in Romanian are written normally. Every quote shall have a foot note;
- Every author shall insert his name below the title of the paper, upper right on the paper, with a foot note that shall stipulate: academic title, institution, city, country, e-mail;
- Every text shall be preceded by an abstract and 5 key-words;
- The abstract and the key-words section will be about of 800 characters;
- The abstract and key-words shall be written both in English;
- Each abbreviation shall be explained only at first use;
- The bibliographical references must include at least one author listed by ISI or quoted in ISI articles.

- length of paper: maximum 10 pages (30000 characters, including bibliography/references and abstract);
