The Music performance – Canto (Classical Vocal Performance) specialization aims at preparing the future lied, oratorio, opera, operetta singers and teachers. In addition to a good musical theoretical training, the vast curriculum area provides the acquisition of technical and interpretative skills, specific to the vocal genre, so that students able to respond to the imposed technical and stylistic requirements.
Along with specialized disciplines, students are given the opportunity to participate in recitals and performances, for a good artistic training practice. The graduates of this specialization may become vocalists or chorists within institutions of culture, or canto teachers within educational institutions.
