The Faculty of Visual Arts and Design from Iași organizes in November 2022 the exhibition Around the Square of the students of the Graphics, Painting, Pedagogy of Arts, Textile Arts departments, together with the coordinating teaching staff, at the “Duke Hall” Gallery of “James Madison” University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, United States of America.

With this project, over 100 participants were invited to express, mainly through portraits, their understanding of the concept of identity; more precisely, if an expression defines the human, societal construct, in relation to a specific space and culture, or communicates, through universal poses, reflections of self-identification, that exist in any space and time, with the common denominator the layers of perception of identity through line and color.
